The Islamic Republic of Iran Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Association, the sole National Governing Body for the MMA sport in Iran which is fully recognized by the I. R. Iran Youth & Sports Ministry as well as the National Olympic Committee, headed by Mr. Yousef Behtari, started the operation under technical supervision & patronage of the Islamic Republic of Iran Martial Arts Associations federation in Tehran, Iran since April 4th, 2021
